Senior Prom 2017

Joshua just had Senior Prom. They went to Brio's at Southpark for dinner and then to McGill Rose Garden for Prom. This is the first time Prom has been outdoors. After Prom they ended the night at the Cheesecake Factory.

 

Hannah competes with ASCE!

As I mentioned before, I am so proud of my children. Hannah is doing well. She came to Charlotte recently with a team to compete with the American Society of Civil Engineers from lots of other schools.

They constructed a concrete canoe. It ended up being too choppy to take it out on Lake Norman. Then they competed in building a bridge in under 30 minutes. They really excelled in this area. They won lots of awards.

And Hannah has accepted a co-op position with a wonderful company. She starts this exciting opportunity in June. She has worked so hard in school and we can't wait to see her continue to excel at school and at her  new job. Congrats Hannah! We love you!

Joshua soon graduates!

I could not be more proud of my kids. Josh is graduating in a little over a month. How in the world did they happen? I am so proud of the young man he is becoming.

Oh my goodness! It's hard to believe my baby is graduating this year. Where did the time go? Joshua was accepted to Clemson, UNC Chapel Hill and NC State. He has decided to go to NC State and major in Chemical Engineering. So proud of him!

I am thankful for my new car. What a nice Valentine's Day gift! I love it! Thank you to my wonderful husband who works hard to provide for us!

Joshua is 18!

18 years ago today, the sweetest and cutest little boy was given to us to love and care for! Joshua is smart, caring, kind, funny and has a heart for God and others! We can not wait to see all that God will do through him! We enjoyed a nice dinner at Cheesecake Factory celebrating his 18th birthday! We missed Hannah who was at school.
